Our client is a very well know large company. They are currently developing web applications used within their industry. Aavalar Consulting has been engaged to provide a Sr. level Java Developer who will program most likely in J2EE framework.
Consultant's Title: Sr. Java J2EE Developer

Who does this position will report to?: Manager of Software Development
Why is there a need for a consultant/contractor?
The project and the group is growing. Java skills are needed
What is the start date of the contract?: ASAP
What is the anticipated length/scope of the contract?: 6 - 12+ months
What is the size of department?: 6+
What projects will the consultant be involved with?:
new and existing web applications.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop the new J2EE web applications and review and improve the existing products.
Role with the group : Consultant
Required Skills:
6 to 7 years of Java development experience
Strong J2EE experience
Java Web Service Development
At least "a couple" years of Spring framework and Hibernate experience
JSP
SQL
Tomcat or JBoss web server.
