Java Developer Job in Indianapolis 46240, Indiana US
Pinnacle Partners is searching for a detail oriented individual to join our client’s team and perform Java web based development. This position will assist in orchestrating database driven web solutions to meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex database driven applications that deliver value to client base.
- Development of applications spanning all phases of application development including: analysis, design, construction, quality assurance, user training and support.
- Work within a structured development environment that includes software versioning, coding standards, peer review, and task tracking management.
- Projects are primarily web based, but also include mid-tier and background processes.
Requirements:
- BS degree in Computer Science or relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience developing applications with Java and HTML. JSP, J2EE, XML, AJAX, FLEX and other related web technologies is a plus.
Preference given to those who have worked with open source projects including: Spring, Hibernate, Eclipse, Tomcat, Ant, and Cruise Control.
Experience designing and consuming SOAP and RESTful Web Services.
Database experience: must understand relational database concepts and have experience working with SQL. Oracle experience is a plus.
Test Driven Development experience and knowledge of Agile development is a plus.
Must be able to contribute to a growing team of Java programmers in a relaxed and teamwork-oriented environment.
Terms:
This is a direct hire role with a salary range to $80-95k based on experience.
