With minimal direction, this individual will conduct analysis, design, and develop web and backend applications utilizing Java (Spring, JSF, JPA, etc.), webservice, and SQL database technologies. The person in this position will collaborate with peers within the development team, as well as partners in our systems and business groups. This individual should be able to articulate technical designs at the application level, define strategies and work closely with fellow developers. Responsibilities will include: multiple phases of the software project life cycle by defining and driving the: requirements evaluation, development, defect resolution, and preparation for systems delivery. This person must also be able to describe problems and make recommendations as part of participating in corporate technology and architecture direction-setting.
