Java Developer – Real Time Risk
A leading hedge fund are seeking to hire a highly skilled Java Developer with exceptional knowledge of low latency systems to join an experienced team responsible for the build out of a greenfield electronic risk platform based in London.
The successful candidate will join a small development team responsible for the full product lifecycle of the platform and will be in constant communication with senior stakeholders and quants. As part of this role the candidate will be expected to be familiar with the business processes in place.
This is a highly mathematic role and as such a degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant subject will be sought.
Key Skills:
- Java, Solaris, Linux, RMDS, 29 West, Kx/Q, SQL (Oracle)
- Low Latency High Frequency Trading systems - Foreign Exchange.
- Order Management, Matching and Execution.
- FX price (spot, forwards but also futures and precious metals).
