Java Developer recruitment

As a Senior FX Java Developer you will have a core role throughout the division and your responsibilities will include the follow:

Managing and participating in the SDLC of the FX Development Project.
Liaise between several Global IT teams in London, Hong Kong and New York to ensure a coordinated relationship is delivering.
Taking control of project schedules to evaluate progress, resource utilization and other issues and escalating to management accordingly.
Play a key role in product design to best pursue the business requirements.
Providing quality coaching, mentoring, guidance to junior team members throughout the FX community.
Ensuring that the Bank’s best interest is maintained and that any decisions undergo the relevant governance procedures.

Required Skills include the following:

Expert knowledge in Java Development and design patterns to create the system from scratch. A willingness to collaborate with other members to achieve the best technical design is expected.
Experience in FX or trading is ideal, though not rudimentary.
Strong experience building Low-latency systems.
Ideally experience in Agile Environments, such as Test Driven Development (TDD).
Ideally knowledge in the following areas: JIRA, GIT, Maven, Middleware MQ, Unix.
Strong planning, analytical and organisational skills, etc are expected.
Good English communication skills.
