Java Developer recruitment
Our client is a top tier investment bank looking to expand their equity derivatives technology team. The equity derivatives trading team currently operates off a vendor system which calculates all their derivatives risk and pricing calculations, they are now planning to build out their own in house bespoke system from scratch and as such they now seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their IT team to undertake the analysis work, drive forward the development and manage some of the project delivery.
The successful candidate will initially be working with a small group of developers to build and design an in-house risk pricer and PnL system. The second phase of the project will require the candidate to face off to the business and facilitate the deployment of the in-house system across APAC, London and New York.
This opportunity will suit an ambitious server-side Java developer with a good knowledge of equity derivatives seeking an opportunity to make a real contribution to the banking business. Experience in systems deployment is highly desirable.
