Java Swing Developer - Get into banking
A Java Developer is required to join a Tier 1 Investment Bank's Sales IT team working on their Trade Capture platform built with a Swing UI and Core Java server.
Candidates should be experienced in:
- Writing Core Java server-side multithreaded, low latency code
- GUI development in Java Swing
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Sybase and SQL Server.
This position involves close interaction with the business so would suit those who are confident and strong communicators with a "front office" personality. Whilst previous financial experience would be an advantage this is not an essential requirement.
This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to break into the financial sector to join an established team within a Tier 1 Investment Bank.
