Senior Java Developer required by market leading online publishers based in Central London, paying up to £65,000 plus benefits.

Purpose of the job:
You will be required to develop software solutions using Java/J2EE technologies to meet the business needs across a number of challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Business Analyst team to understand the requirements
- Produce software design documentation
- Implement quality software using Java/J2EE technologies, Spring, XSLT, XML, Junit and more
- Implement automated build and deployment scripts
- Regularly report to the Technical Lead and Development Manager with the progress of the development life cycle
- Work with test teams to help develop and understand test cases
- Lead, assist and mentor junior developers
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience with software development using Java/J2EE technologies
- Experience using Object Orientated language and Object Orientated design patterns
- Proven skills using Spring, JUnit, Ant, XML, XSLT, XPath, XQuery
- Ability to communicate at a high level, both written and oral
- Educated to Degree level or higher
