A dynamic start-up is looking for an excellent Java Developer (Core Java) to join their growing team working on an exciting project. The Java developer will be working under a Java Technical Lead/ Java Architect and will be involved in the start of what is set to be an industry first system.
Not only will the Java developer be working with other top Java technologists using cutting edge technologies and building a bespoke and complex platform from scratch; they will also be working with some of the best business heads in the finance sector in London. This role will link the successful Java Developer with many of the top companies in London from hedge funds to asset managers.
This will be a fast paced and agile environment and you must be a Java developer who can adapt and evolve with a continuous project. The successful Java developer must have solid Java skills and strong exposure to Spring/Spring Batch technologies. The team will be very agile and specialise in TDD so any testing tools would be nice to have. JMS and Hibernate are a must and any experience of open source frameworks such as Activiti or Bonitasoft would also be advantageous. Any Java GUI experience too or have used HTML5 or GWT would be beneficial.
