Java Developer (Swing, £90k, London, eFX)
A leading global Investment Bank is seeking a Senior Java Developer to work on a strategic eCommerce Pricing application that serves the FX and Fixed Income Businesses. Your responsibilities will involve working on manual pricing/Dealer intervention as well as activity modelling and the development of content delivery services, interacting regularly with the Business (Traders and Quants), as well as taking ownership for individual applications and work streams. This positions is for a Front-to-back Java Developer who is comfortable on both the Server side and the GUI.
To succeed in this position you should be able to demonstrate the following, as a minimum -
- Expert Core Java knowledge, gained through working on a large scale, high-throughput, low-latency, multi-threaded application.
- Commercially experience of Java Swing GUI Development
- Experience of either Sybase or Oracle databases.
- Working knowledge of Agile software delivery methodologies.
- Previous experience working within a Front Office Investment Banking environment, with a basic knowledge of financial concepts and products in either FX or Fixed Income.
Location - London
Salary - £70,000 - £90,000
