We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our Wealth Bench Development team in Beijing, China.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to the design and development of a web application for wealth advisors and private bankers.
- Make contributions to the architecture of the application.
- Maintain and help support existing services.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
- Experience in object-oriented design
- Systems Development lifecycle experience
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Java, JSP, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, Relational database modeling, SQL, Oracle
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Eclipse, Tomcat, HTTPD, SVN, Maven, SOAP, Web Services
- Experience with Agile software development teams (XP teams)
- Experience in projects that span multiple geographic locations
- Experience with any of Corda, Lucene, SOLR, Splunk desired
- Experience in financial services a plus
- Internationalization and localization of an application
- Production support experience a plus
- Perl/CGI experience a plus
