Core Java Developer with Linux Systems Admin skills - London - Young Hedge Fund
My client is a 2 year old Hedge Fund based in London. Currently the technical infrastructure is developed in Core Java (by one Senior Developer) and all servers are Linux based (kept by one of the traders).
They are now looking for quite a unique skill set of someone with both strong Core Java Development skills coupled with very strong Linux Systems Administration knowledge / skills / experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with no financial markets experience to break into the finance sector. The ideal profile will be educated from a red-brick / tier 1 / Ivy League University, have excellent Core Java skills and excellent Linux Systems Administration (configuration, integration and installation).
