Java Developer/Engineer/Programmer (Trade Booking, London)
A tier 1 global investment bank seeks an experienced Core Java Developer to join a client facing team that works on a high-performance market-side Trade Booking service and Trade reporting engine, within their expanding and consistently successful Cash Equities business.
You will work closely with the Cash Equities Trading business in order to scope requirements for upgrades, enhancements, and the on-going evolution of this system.
In order to succeed in this role, you must possess the following experience -
- Expert level Core Java Development skills, including Multi-threading, Concurrency, Collections and Synchronisation
- Excellent experience with Data Structures and Algorithms, including the ability to make intelligent choices between Data Structures and knowing how best to implement them
- Experience with FIX
- Experience delivering software on a Linux based OS
- Knowledge of low-level networking, such as TCP/IP protocols
- Previous exposure to a front office banking environment is not considered essential, but would be a distinct advantage
Location - London
Salary - £65,000 - £85,000
