Java Developers – Multiple Openings
We have partnered with a large financial services company to provide them with multiple Java Developers (web development) in Wilmington, DE. The successful applicants will have broad responsibilities for designing, building and implementing large scale software development projects. Must have experience with banking / financial services!!

The candidates must be somewhat local to the East Coast and be able to attend an in-person interview after a technical phone screen in Wilmington, DE.
Job Title: Java Developers
Location: Wilmington, DE
Job Description:
- Must have experience in developing web applications on J2EE platform that involve integrating with 3rd party web services. For this project developer is required to build new Java services that integrate with internal products 3rd party products using web services.
- Developer is expected to thoroughly test services using Unit Integration testing.
- Work closely work with Business Quality Analysts on day to day basis.
- Knowledge of various open source libraries and frameworks is very valuable, as is Agile experience.
- Strong communication skills with English are required.
- Ability to understand oral and written business requirements is needed in many situations, and so we review soft skills in the review.
Required Skills:
· Worked at Banking / Financial services companies.
· Java / J2EE and Spring MVC framework (including bean wiring).
· Web Services.
· Velocity or Webflow.
· Agile / SCRUM methodologies and ability to discuss sprints.
Additional Technical skills and abilities:
· In-depth knowledge of Java including JUNIT, ANT.
· In-depth knowledge of XML including XSLT and XPATH. Nice to have includes PL/SQL.
· Deployment familiarity of J2EE.
· Familiarity with major database vendors such as MS SQL Server and Oracle.
· Knowledge of enterprise application design patterns.
· Solid interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
· Exceptional problem solving abilities.
