Currently, one of our major client's, a global investment bank, is searching across the European Union for talented EU, English speakers with Java development experience, to join their main development centre of in Prague.
Typically, the local teams comprise of up to 8 specialists with + additional remote members spread around the world (London, New York, Singapore) and responsible for the full development lifecycle of client server applications used by traders globally.
This will include, design, development and support of new and existing pricing and risk management tools, whilst working closely with the project stakeholders during the analysis, design, prototyping, construction deployment stages and at the same time, ensuring user satisfaction.
Throughout the process, you will be given the opportunity develop or improve your knowledge of financial markets and products, through training, self study and on the job experience.
The main requirements are:
Strong English communication skills (no Czech required!!)
University degree in IT, Mathematics or Engineering etc
Strong general Computer Science knowledge
Strong Java (J2EE) experience
Good knowledge of SQL and relational database design understanding
Knowledge of Linux
Current EU passport is essential
