Java Developers x 4 - Java, J2EE, Spring, Tomcat, Agile, BDD - My leading London based software house is expanding their talented Java team . You will be working within the UK digital publishing division on large scale, high volume, highly scalable platforms.
They have a number of highly interactive, scalable and high availability systems which are designed to deal with over 100,000 concurrent users and the ideal Java Developer (Java, J2EE, Spring, Tomcat, Agile, TDD) will have experience of Spring, including Spring MVC, Hibernate, Apache/Tomcat and MySql, although other databases will be considered. You will have proven experience in working within a Test Driven development environment and be able to demonstrate how you have solved problems quickly and efficiently in the past. Any Lucence search or Solr experince will be highly regarded.
We have recently filled a number of positions with these guys and the feedback from the developers who have been down there has been phenomenal, everyone loves the location, the projects and the team members they met. The Java developer (Java, J2EE, Spring, Apache, Tomcat, BDD, Agile) will need to bring with them not only excellent coding standards, enthusiasm and passion but they must be adaptable to new technology, this role will require you to try out new solutions and suggest improvements to the current set of applications.
