JAVA Financial Modelling Developer-Washington DC recruitment
A very prestigious financial organisation is looking for a Senior Java Developer to support the design, development and support within their financial modelling and research area. The Java Financial Model Developer will be responsible for the development of brand new code, as well as the enhancement of the existing code base within this market and credit risk teams. The Java Financial Model Developer will also be responsible for helping assist other areas of financial research and engineering. If the candidate is experienced enough, there will also be the opportunity to home in on management skills by leading the team of junior developers also.
The successful Java Financial Model Developer- D.C Metro Area- McLean, Virginia: will have the following skills:
• Experience designing and developing distributed application (runs using ~500 processors in Linux cluster).
• Work with Credit or Interest Rate models in to model performance framework (preferable)
• Expert Java programming skills. Java 6.0 is preferable.
• Java EE framework
• Spring/Swing
• Good C++ (STL) skills.
• RDBMS (Sybase OR DB2 preferable)
• SQL
• UNIX/Linux
