Java Front End Developer (DOJO/ AJAX / JavaScript) Job in Jersey City, New Jersey US

Our client in Jersey City, New Jersey is seeking a Lead J2EE DOJO / AJAX Architect Developer to join its Web Delivery Development Team. The Web Delivery Team is responsible for the web development of financial services for its customers. For this position, you will play an important role to help design, implement and deliver the next generation web platform for company product lines. This platform must be engineered to distinguish itself from its competitors to deliver a world-class experience to its global users.

You must possess and have a deep understanding/experience of developing solutions for Enterprise Architectures, bleeding edge Web Technologies, Content Management. Experience must also include engineering solutions to address fault-tolerant applications, redundancy, heavy usage scenarios, disaster recovery situations and self-healing type of deployments with minimum intervention. You must be an outstanding team player with a positive attitude to be driven with delivering results on time and within budget, having the ability to communicate clearly and effectively when discussing issues with team members and senior management. The role requires a strong passion to provide new ideas / innovation / creativity to Web solutions. As a Technical Leader in all phases of the Web application delivery process; from inception through development, QA, and post-release support, you will be responsible to produce quality and high-performance Web applications.

As the selected candidate, you must have a strong J2EE foundation with portal development experience. You must have 4+ years of using Web portal products or related tools and 8+ years of experience in a large enterprise environment using different computing platforms with proven experience in systems / component analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance on various environments including multi-tier applications. Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills are required for interaction with all levels of management.
