Exciting opportunity to work on a greenfield build out of functions from legacy platforms onto a Java platform in addition to contributing to the technical direction of department.
As a developer lead within the team the successful candidate will be involved in:
- Full System Development Lifecycle
- Technical design and development of core-processing applications
- Assist with requirements gathering.
- Design components of new or existing applications.
- Implement, test and deploy new/existing applications.
- Perform maintenance and enhancements to existing applications
- Support of new and existing applications
They require very strong development skills across Java, JEE, Spring, Sybase, XML, MQ, JMS and UNIX, with experience of tools such as Subversion, JIRA, JUnit and FitNesse. Additional experience in Design patterns, continuous integration and XSLT would be advantageous.
