Harrington Starr is working with a leading Financial Services Brokerage to find a Senior Java Integration Developer to working closely with the low latency Front-Office Trading Systems.
As the Senior Java Integration Developer (Low Latency, Multi-Threading, Front Office, FIX, J2SE, Tibco) you will be working on the analysis and architecture of front office low latency trading systems. You will also be giving technical expertise on the integration of front office systems with this Brokerage's middleware architecture, with the goal of improving their Straight through processes. You will be giving advice on low latency systems and working with tools such as Corvil to manage the latency of the systems.
This Brokerage is one of the leading global Brokerage's and is currently undergoing the complex process of becoming an exchange. This involves a large amount of work on their systems, particularly their low latency trading systems, to make sure that they are able to meet the regulation standards required.
You will need to have an exceptional Java Development background with a strong understanding of Multi Threading and Socket development. Ideally you will also have a background using FIX, FAST and experience with Corvil or a similar tool.
As the Senior Java Integration Developer (Low Latency, Multi-Threading, Front Office, FIX, J2SE, Tibco) you will need:
* Strong understanding of Core Java Development
* Excellent experience with Multi Threaded Development
* Experience with Socket Development
* Knowledge of Tibco
* Experience with Low Latency Trading Systems
* Knowledge of Corvil or similar latency management systems
* Knowledge of FIX and/or FAST
