Java J2EE Developer – Agile – Data – Financial Services recruitment
The team is currently designing a prototype for a bespoke system capable of processing large volumes of data to provide coherent reporting solutions for several high profile clients within financial services.
The successful Java Developer must have strong server side multi-threaded Java/J2EE development experience in addition to in depth knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks. Candidates must strong database skills (ideally SQL or Oracle) in order to perform data extraction and analysis, and due to the increasing scale of data handling, knowledge of Big Data frameworks, such as Hadoop would be desirable. The Java Developer will also ideally have worked in an agile environment previously, and have some exposure to test-driven development practices, using JUnit and TestNG.
