A dynamic and rapidly growing start-up have released several urgent requirements to us for several java developers to join their development team that works on a platform that plays a crucial part in their organisation.
They have requirements for junior (up to 4 years) and mid-level java developers (4-8 years) who will all be given the opportunity to join a rapidly growing team implementing a market changing vision that is gaining more market exposure daily.
The correct candidate will be given the chance to work alongside very knowledgeable and senior members of industry, utilising their market knowledge and contacts to stay ahead of any potential competition.
This organisation prides itself on working with the most up to date technologies and not allowing ‘bureaucracy’ effect their development practises.
Requirements
- Good Core Java Skills (Concurrency, sockets data structures)
- Good backend system design including message buses, caching, clustering, replication and failover
- Agile development experience
- Familiarity with Maven, Git (Nice to have)
- Experience with Ehcache Terracotta or similar distributed cache frameworks (nice to have)
- Familiarity with UNIX FIX protocol (Nice to have)
- Exposure to Scala or any other functional programming languages (Nice to have)
