Java Python FIX Trading Front Office Analyst Developer
Java developer with excellent Python skills is required for a fantastic opportunity to work as an Analyst Developer within an extremely high-calibre team at a major investment bank
This team is working within their leading Commodities area, and will be working on a new trading platform. As such any experience with trading gateway tools such as FIX is highly desirable. The team face off directly to the front office trading and core quant sponsors.
While some of the development may take place in Python, the overwhelming majority of the systems and peripheral tools are written in Java.
There is a need for a Java developer in London to provide the development and design solution for this new trading system. The right candidate will ideally have a history of delivering complex multi-tier architectures and solutions within a front office finance environment, with full life cycle exposure.
Surprisingly, previous exposure with in this area is not a prerequisite to be suitable for the role although a strong academic background and an appetite for solving complex problems is essential. Exceptional candidates outside the financial sector from Defence, Telcos, and Gaming are encouraged to apply.
