This tier one investment bank is looking for an experienced Java developer with a solid understanding of the FX business to join the quant team of their rapidly expanding FX ecommerce team.

Following sustained success over the past 12 months the FX area of this top bank is expanding aggressive and looking to consolidate their position by building an eFX platform to rival the top 3 FX players.

Joining the quant desk this role is for a java developer who has experience of working closely with the desk and actually solving business issues directly themselves. They want someone who really understands the FX business and knows the specific problems that arise within a high frequency environment. Any potential candidate should have no problem in explaining FX swaps, spot or forwards.

Ideally the candidate will have a good understanding of working within an Agile methodology.

Responsibilities for the Java Quant Developer – FX high frequency
- work closely with the quants on the FX quant desk
- build low latency components for this global Java eFX platform
