Java Software Developer, Application Development recruitment
Wilshire Associates, a leader in global investment technology, is seeking a talented Application Software Developer within its Analytics Business Unit. Working as part of a team based in Santa Monica, California, this position’s responsibilities include:
- Develop maintain Wilshire’s Multi-Asset-Class Java platform infrastructure.
- Participate in the design and development of new infrastructure.
- Support Hudson build environment.
Experience Skills:
- 1 to 4 years of application development experience using Java , Tomcat , Ant, JMS, Hudson, relational databases.
- Knowledge of Java caching technologies and database access technologies.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and use initiative to accomplish results.
- Familiarity with C++ is a plus.
- Experience working with financial instruments and calculations is desirable, but not required.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
- BS/BA degree in computer science, information technology or in a related field.
