This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Java Software Engineer to join a leading aerospace and defence engineering company in the UK, utilising your technical skills in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.
You will be responsible for the full life cycle software development of Java applications; including planning, design, development, testing, enhancements and maintenance.
Java Software Engineer – Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven full life cycle development experience in Java, on a Linux or Unix platform;
- Skills in database design and interaction in SQL;
- Experience of JTAG / SMS / MMS and/or mobile network protocols / messaging is highly desirable;
- Experience with AGILE / KANBAN methodologies is also highly desirable.
The successful candidate must be eligible for full UK Security Clearance.
