Java Software Integration Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION: Seeking an experienced Java Integrator for an up and coming DOD project. This is a 6-month contract responsible for software development and integration in support of a next generation identification program. This is an immediate need and targeting candidates with active clearances. This is a not a deal break but it is preferred. Offering very competitive pay and looking in the range of 1-8 years experience. The development environment will utilize Linux workstations and servers with test interfaces with the primary development language being Java. Responsibilities include: - Developing custom software and tools - Integration testing, debugging, fixing software as part of early software integration test - Supporting the implementation, release, test and acceptance testing of the final implementation Skill Requirements: - Proficient in J2EE and web services development with experience in each of the following: Java v5, EJB v3 and JBoss. - Ability to design /develop interfaces to, and integrate COTS products - Hands-on integration of Linux/Unix-based systems - Experience with model driven software design and development - Experience with full life cycle software development (design, development, unit test and - Excellent communication skills Desired (not a deal breaker): - Biometric system development, preferably large-scale systems. - JMS, JAX-WS (SOAP based Web Services), Eclipse IDE, Hibernate/JPA, ActiveVOS/BPEL (MIDDLEWARE) - Rational Tool Suite (ClearCase/ClearQuest) (CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT TOOLS) - Hands-on familiarity with Lockheed Martin process and procedures is highly desirable.
