Java Support / Developer - J2EE, Javascript, Oracle, SQL
My client is a leading and renowned Asset Manager with a massive presence within the market who require a technical Java Support / Developer with J2EE, Javascript, XML, Oracle / SQL and UNIX experience for its web Application Support team in London.
As Java Support Developer the successful candidate will act as the first point of escalation and incident coordinator for critical production issues, provide technical support on complex internally and externally developed applications, manage problems through to deployment and build relationships with vendors to maintain service levels to internal clients. You will also provide development and support to various third party applications and support of current eCommerce applications, schedulers, data loaders and data base schemas.
To be strongly considered for this role you must have excellent Java Development and Support experience. You must have J2EE, Javascript, JSP, Servlets and XML/XSLT. In addition you will have strong Oracle / SQL Database experience and ideally good knowledge of UNIX with Perl / Bash scripting. Knowledge of Spring (3.0), Hibernate, jQuery and / or MVC would be a distinct advantage as would knowledge of UNIX and Perl or Bash scripting.
You must have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills as well as eligibility to live and work in the UK.
