There is a new role with an Investment Bank in London - City, looking for a Junior (1-4 yrs) Java Swing developer to join their Front Office FX Trading group.
The role is to join a small team responsible for designing and implementing a new Front Office FX Trading platform from scratch, and then migrating all existing business onto the new platform.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a greenfield Front Office programme with the chance to work directly with some of the strongest Java developers/Quants in London, with significant exposure to the business.
The new system has a complex Java Swing front-end based on a real-time trading screens and low-latency, high-throughput code. They require a junior Java developer with significant Swing experience to join the front-office team, and work on the design and development of the new front-end system.
You must have the following skills and experience to apply:
- Java / J2SE 1.6 experience
- Swing programming experience
- Interest in working within a challenging Front Office Trading environment.
- 1-4 years development experience
- Ambition and desire to progress quickly
The role offers a basic salary negotiable up to £50k + bonus and benefits package.
