Aquent is seeking a Java Tech Lead to be involved in critical initiatives and projects for Fortune 500 companies. Responsibilities:
Architect and design Java/J2EE applications,
analyze business requirements and create specifications,
develop, test and deploy applications,
define project standards and ensure conformance,
define and coordinate system testing,
conduct research and root-cause analysis of issues reported by users,
provide application support,
develop technical specifications,
provide project estimates, tracking and monitoring,
work with globally distributed teams.
Other Requirements:
Candidate Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in the following areas:
requirements gathering and estimation,
delegating and tracking development tasks,
selecting appropriate technologies,
Java/J2EE programming including analysis, design, development, testing and support,
Java Frameworks - Spring, Struts, Hibernate, etc.,
Designing database schema and writing queries,
Java Servlets, and JSP,
J2EE Design Patterns,
HTML, AJAX and JavaScript,
Preferred experience in the following areas:
Web Services,
writing stored procedures and triggers,
optimizing application and database performance,
Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.
