Java Web Services Developer
Arc90 is looking for a talented Java developer. You will work closely with the project manager, systems analysts, and other developers to design, build, test, and deliver the features that make up our client’s internet experience.
If you are interested in cutting edge technology, but have a strong background in traditional Java service development, we want you! We’ve got plenty of challenging problems, a fantastic team and development environment with which to tackle them.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a smart, motivated, focused person who enjoys crafting great software
- Has strong software development skills using Java technologies in a REST architecture
- Can sling together a JOIN or two in SQL
- Understands the benefits of writing tests
- Is a good communicator and enjoys working with teams of smart folks
- Is either in or moving to NYC (preferred), or is in the Americas and particularly great at working remotely
- If you’re living in the United States, you’re qualified to work here without sponsorship (sorry, we can’t currently sponsor H1-B candidates)
Our ideal candidate:
- Has an interest in Clojure, C#, or Python
- Has a broad range of interests when it comes to development, including the user experience
