Java/J2EE Developer – Greenfield Project Development
About the role:
We are seeking 4 Mid Level Java/J2EE Developers to join a brand new Greenfield project team, which will be responsible for developing a new end to end Direct Leasing and Customer Management system utilising the latest technologies. This is a significant piece of work which is crucial to the Asset Finance's team continued growth and to maintain its reputation as one of Macquarie fastest growing business units.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to overall Design and Development of the new Leasing platform
- Work closely with project managers to deliver key project estimates and ensure deadlines are met
- Build relationships with the business and understand key business requirements
- Be a team player and demonstrate flexibility to get the project delivered.
About you:
To be successful in this role as a Java/J2EE Developer you will come from a strong Java/J2EE Development background and ideally have previous financial services experience. You will also posses strong experience with JBoss 7, EJB3.1,JPA2 (Hibernate) JAX-RS, Eclipse as well excellent database and Unix Scripting experience. Previous experience with JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap UI would be highly regarded. You will also have the following:
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Fantastic communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A strong team player who demonstrates flexibility and a pro-activeness to deliver a key business project
- The ability to operate independently, to be proactive, and able to interact with stakeholders across all levels.
