Job Description: 

Working closely with all members of the product, mobile UX UI and Dev teams, you will be responsible for implementing the Front End of our product experience 

Responsibilities
Build UI features in JavaScript utilizing RESTful services, HTML5 Video API and custom interfaces
Be aware of new and emerging Front End technologies

Skills
Minimum 3 years JavaScript development experience, appreciation and understanding of Object Oriented programming concepts (like structured, reusable code)
Experience with JavaScript libraries
Experience using JavaScript template solutions like Mustache.js, handlebars.js or jQuery templates
Expertise with JavaScript MVC frameworks such as Spine/Backbone, Sproutcore
Experinced in HTML5 (ideally HTML5 Video API)
Fluency with CSS3
Proven real world experience with responsive web design and media queries (we need a site that scales across devices and platforms with a dedicated mobile presence)
Experience with at least one version control system (we use Git)

Development will go hand in hand with DevOps Test teams to bring together the entire solution, including web site, mobile devices, games consoles, connected TVs and consumer devices. It also includes the entire back‐end system that manages content ingestion, encoding, lifecycle management, recommendations engine, marketing, SEO and CRM, to name a few.

The development teams comprise of database, services, website, administration, games consoles, TV and mobile. Alongside the development teams is the Test team, dedicated to ensuring the code and solutions we ship are of the highest quality. Using manual and automated tests, from simple code fragments up to automated smoke tests, they verify the quality of the code that we ship across a wide range of devices. All of the Engineering group liaise with the IT Operations Team to ensure smooth delivery and support of the solution.

Additional: strong frontend engineering skills (OO JavaScript, DOM scripting, CSS, Flash, CSS mark-up) and solid Clientside
