Javascript Programmer at DirectLyrics (San Francisco, CA)

For the website directlyrics.com – visited daily by over 500k music fans – we're looking for an experienced part-time Javascript Programmer.

The job consists of working together with a small team on location to develop and launch new frontend functionality. Your work consists of implementing frontend functionality for both the website and our custom admin in short release cycles with continuous additional improvements. The job needs a commitment of at least 28 hours/week for initially a period of 3 months, commencing as soon as possible. 

Perfect Candidate
The perfect candidate for the job is able to create fast rendering Javascript code and knows his way around native JavaScript, DOM, this and events. You can take notes on paper and build them into user functionality. You have attention to detail in creating a frictionless environment for the user on all major platforms. You are able to build on top existing code, your code hits no errors in JSHint, and is effectively minimized by Closure.
