Senior JBoss ESB SOA Engineer and Systems Developer works on initial software architecture, starting with validation of the design

approach, validates software service goals, and requirements for SOA High Availability Backplane deployment (JBOSS, SOA

Software, Savvion, Oracle). The roles envisioned are design, development, and coding implementation of complex JMS-based

integrations for end-to-end solutions at a middleware level using native JBoss and Jboss JMS/HTTP/FTP etc. components. Optimize

the performance characteristics of an ESB integration environment by planning, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting and supporting

various applications publishing and/or subscribing within an ESB architecture.

The role requires performing complex technical troubleshooting and development activities with an understanding of Oracle/SQL and

Sybase database implementations, network, and system performance configuration and tuning techniques. He/she will also ensure that

all integration configuration components are consistent with and comply to the establisshed patterns and standards within the

frameworks defined by eSOA GSA technical reference models. Finally, this roles requires assisting infrastructure teams to develop and

maintan software procedures and knowledge to ensure that each HA Backplane environment is supported throughout the SDLC

lifecycle.

 

Required Skills:

Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent in training and experience is required.

In-depth experience in software development

Jboss ESB SOA experience (JBoss 4.0 Higher)

Jboss Business Rules Management System (JBRMS) experience

J2EE Integration experience; Software development,Jboss ESB, JBoss Application Seever (EAP 4.2 - 5.0),EAI/BPM tools and processes,design

and development with Eclipse suite,XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath,J2EE,SOA, ESB, JMS messaging

Experience with Socket/Protocol Transformations, tools and processes for products based on Listner/Provider paterns

Experience in detail design and development with XSL or Smooks Data Integration suite of products

Experience in performance tuning in JBoss Application Server, transactional tracking, troubleshooting and enhancing the existing environment

XML related experience in preferred, such as XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath

Demonstrated thorough understanding of modern enterprise architecture, hands on experience with Enterprise Application Integration Middleware

and Platforms

Proven track record of successfully delivering SOA/middleware integration projects

Experience in Java development and concepts

Experience coding or debugging against Java APIs

Experience with deployment and administration of J2EE Application Servers and Containers, e.g. Apache/Tomcat, JBoss, Spring, Hibernate etc.

Experience with SOA, ESB, JMS messaging, transaction, FTP/SFTP, CICS, XML and/or Web Services and integration technologies

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in dynamic environment with a broad range of end-user configurations; ability to participate in

team environment and build strong working relationships.

Able to create and maintain software interfaces through through defined transmission standards and guidelines for deployed services

Ability to provide robust client delivery and production support roles
