Jewellery Designer Jobs West Sussex
Fantastic opportunity to join a Global Retail Distribution business based in Burgess Hill.
Due to rapid Growth my client is now looking to appoint a Jewellery Designer.
Ideally you will have a proven track record within the Retail sector with a great creative flair, experience of translating trends, styles and developing ranges together with the buying teams. Have experience of working with Far East Suppliers, and attended Trade and Trend Shows.
The Role:
To predict and report on new and continuing trends through to developing and designing relevant product per brand.
Reasonability's:
o Travel to various European countries and attend trade and trend fairs and to gather initial design inspiration.
o Produce a comprehensive co-ordinated design package with relevant colours and styling for the next season.
o Presenting next season's trends to the buying/merchandising team.
o To liaise with suppliers in the Far East to ensure that development is carried out in the requested way.
o Understand Commercial expectations and restrains within each brand.
o Ensure precise and consistent artwork is produced for supplier interpretation.
o To be always looking for new ways to move the ranges forward.
o To work closely with buyers on designs and styling.
o Presenting new trends and colours to Concession managers.
