JIT Analyst
MAJOR FUNCTION: Coordinate and expand the Tomah JIT and VMI programs to meet customer delivery requirements while maintaining controlled inventory levels utilizing MRP systems and continuous improvement methods. Work with Suppliers and Sourcing on the expansion of Continuous Improvement through the development of new processes. Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and New Product Development the pilot runs at Tomah. Identify and control the disposition of obsolete inventory. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Support supplier value added programs such as kitting, consignment, vendor managed inventory to support manufacturing, warehousing and continuous improvement. 2. Coordinate the incoming parts with material planners, engineering, and sourcing for pilots at the Tomah plant. 3. Support and coordinate the expansion of formal routes with Toro fleet, other Toro facilities and approved carriers. 4. Work with material planners to develop proper lot sizing based upon material and supplier location data. 5. Reviews and adjust order policies and ABC values and safety stock to control planning parameters. 6. Monitors incoming shipments for early/over; late/under to be addressed with supplier/sourcing. 7. Support supplier reduction and consolidation working with the Toro Sourcing department 8. Develop and support system changes to enhance the delivery of incoming material. 9. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
