SLS technicians make an average of 30,000 customer stops per month to perform lighting retrofits, group relamps, service calls, and inspections. Even with all the calls they make, SLS Service Technicians achieve 97% on-time attainment for all scheduled maintenance jobs. Job Description: Responsible for supervising all aspects of a given job while on the job site on a daily basis. This could include relamps, retrofits, upgrades, etc of a large nature. Supervises one or more SLS crews or subcontractors depending on the size of the particular job. This position would be the main contact with the customer on the job site on a daily basis. All daily or weekly schedules for the job, securing of material, special equipment, etc would also be included. Adherence to the SLS Six Point Safety Program would also be included if SLS labor was on the job site. This person would not be expected to perform actual installations on the job because of the size and nature of the job. Must insure timely completion of the job and the timely and accurate completion of all paperwork required by the particular job. All reporting for internal and external purposes would also be part of the responsibility. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications/Preferred Qualifications/Physical Requirements: Minimum 4 years of previous lighting/electrical/mechanical experience required Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent Previous supervisory and experience working with subcontractors preferred Good organizational and communication skills a must with previous computer skills a plusVision: must meet motor vehicle license and DOT medical certification requirementsHearing: must be able to hear co-workers and pass DOT medical certification requirementsWeight: maximum weight of 280 (equipment safety limit) Company Profile
