largest media company. Its 1:almerston Sun;Onrwn Sun and Lechfield Sun mastneads are the Top End's
crly free weekly newspapers. Distributing more than 31,000 newspapers each Wednesday throughout the
cities of Darwin and Palmerston and the thriving Litchfield municipality.
A rare oppo•turity has arisen for an energetic and highly-motivated
journalist to join our smal, but progressive team.
The successful applicant must:
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of gathering and compiling news stories.
- Have a good understsanding of local issues.
- Whre working closely wits the echo•, be able to set editoria direction,report and break news within the Top End region.
- Have a demonstrated ab lily to write and adhere to tight dead ines.
- Photographic ability. and experience using Cyberpage, is desirable.
- A current crivers licence is essential and experience in the media industryand/or teri-tary education is a cistinct advantage.
