Journalist
A multi-media mogul is seeking a Journalist responsible for curating a page based around 10 videos about the topic of fearlessness as it relates to the CEO and her book. The editor will need to communicate with the video team to execute publishing videos in a timely manner and building out content surrounding the subject matter in between the video postings.
This includes blogger outreach, curation, proofreading, writing, editing, photo finding, and keeping the page looking fresh.
A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field with 5-7 years related experience as a lifestyle editor is highly preferred.
Skills and Competencies include a strong command of the English language, ability to think on your toes with a witty flare. Very flexible and go-with-the-flow. Ability to work well under pressure and be the center-point between many teams. Being fluent in AP Style is non-negotiable as is prior experience using content management systems (CMS). Fluency in Movable Type a plus.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for writing, editing and curating fearlessness-related content. Works closely with Executive Health Editor to create the look and feel of the page. Posts videos in a timely fashion and monitors the schedule as such. Builds out content around the various areas of life that fearlessness will highlight -- like money, parenting, and love.
