Experian Interactive Media, an Experian company, is looking for an Account Executive to join its growing ClassesUSA sales team. ClassesUSA is the leading internet marketing partner for the largest online and campus-based colleges and universities in the U.S. The Account Executive is responsible for new account development, revenue growth, retention, and satisfaction of assigned Education client base, while contributing to the overall company goals and objectives. Launch new accounts; manage grow book of business; develop and maintain strong relationships with clients including schools and agencies; provide daily service and support; develop and implement long-term opportunities and apply strategic solutions to maximize client ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, qualify, sell, negotiate and launch new accounts
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline for new account acquisition and existing account retention/satisfaction/growth
- Establish and reinforce expectations with new clients to ensure their ROI expectations are realistic and met within a reasonable timeframe
- Coordinate all activities for on-boarding new accounts and/or new schools
- Develop and adhere to strategies that establish proactive communication, monitor and improve service results and effectiveness, optimize value propositions, and position ClassesUSA as the most profitable and value-added Education lead source.
- Schedule and make ongoing proactive, strategic calls with each account to fully understand the account’s business, their ongoing strategic goals and objectives, building a strong rapport/relationship with key contacts and decision makers, and identifying (1) how the Account Manager can provide value to their needs, and (2) how their needs can help achieve the Account Manager’s and ClassesUSA goals and objectives
- Analyze and resolve diverse, complex and technical issues via an in-depth knowledge of company's products, services, industry and technical interfaces
- Provide daily service and support to assigned accounts with service adjustments, problem solving, trouble shooting, and ad hoc reporting requests
- Develop account plans on assigned book of business to implement opportunities
- Prioritize A, B and C opportunities by potential dollars of revenues, available inventory and probability of success
- Evaluate clients' service quality standards, and service/product capabilities. Educate clients to more effectively utilize products, resulting in increased market penetration, lower resource costs and higher revenue to both clients and ClassesUSA
- Track and record all client touch points including data, relevant business metrics and ongoing communication and service changes in Siebel CRM system
- Coordinate all activities for completing on-going campaign updates including periodic updates to order entry system on assigned accounts
- Prepare written presentations, reports and pricing proposals
- Attend industry trade shows and visit clients to uncover opportunities and strengthen relationships
- Support finance policies, such as payment terms, collections, invoicing and contracts
- Continually learn new product knowledge and acquire better solution selling skills
- Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, products and markets for education leads and education lead generation
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, training seminars and workshops
- Maintain daily sales and productivity goals, as provided by management
- Prepare periodic sales and activity reports as required
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Internet Industry Familiarity (is a plus)
- Lead / Education / Internet Marketing Categories (is a plus)
- 0-2 Years Related Experience
- Demonstrated Multi-Tasking
- Experience Working with High-Pressure / Tight Deadlines
- Demonstrated Results / Track Record
- Familiarity w/ CRM systems (is a plus)
