Job Description
At Attivio, the Jr. Financial Business Analyst reports to, and works closely with, our Sr. Financial Analyst and Chief Financial Officer. He or she will assist in developing innovative strategies to enable Attivio continue on its high-growth trajectory. This individual will focus on understanding the needs of the company and its strategic direction, and identifying initiatives that will allow Attivio to meet those strategic goals. He or she will serve as the advocate of business unit owners and will work on a broad range of projects to develop business, operating and finance strategies.
Responsibilities:
The focus of the analyst's work includes:
- Analysis of financial and operating results;
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages for the executive team and board of directors;
- Budgeting;
- Tracking and analysis of KPIs;
- Management planning;
- Contract sales support;
- Vendor management; and
- Ad hoc projects, as required, in support of the CFO and other member of the executive team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree, with MBA highly preferred;
- 2 years experience as a business analyst and/or management consultant;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills;
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision, and highly organized;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill;
- Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated;
- Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity; and
- Experience with a software company and/or start-up highly desirable.
