Software Engineers/Integrators 1-5 years Experience Rockville, MD (Alternate Locations: Orlando, FL and Fairmont, WV) Engineers/integrators serving as part of the Biometric Products team that will be responsible for software development and integration in support of an agency's Next Generation Identification (NGI) program. Candidates must be in the 1 ndash; 5 year range of experience. Responsibilities include: bull; Developing custom software and tools bull; Integration testing, debugging, fixing software as part of early software integration test bull; Supporting the implementation, release, test and acceptance testing of the final implementation The development environment will utilize Linux workstations and servers with test interfaces with the primary development language being Java. SKILL REQUIREMENTS bull; 1 -5 years of professional experience ( 5 years is the maximum) bull; Proficient in JEE and web services development with experience in each of the following: Java v5, EJB v3 and JBoss. bull; Ability to design /develop interfaces to, and integrate COTS products bull; Hands-on integration of Linux/Unix-based systems bull; Experience with model driven software design and development bull; Experience with full life cycle software development (design, development, unit test and software integration test) bull; Excellent communication skills bull; Ability to qualify for an FBI Limited Background Investigation or a DOD Secret BONUS SKILLS bull; Biometric system development, preferably large-scale systems. bull; JMS, JAX-WS (SOAP based Web Services), Eclipse IDE, Hibernate/JPA, ActiveVOS/BPEL bull; Rational Tool Suite (ClearCase/ClearQuest) bull; Hands-on familiarity with Lockheed Martin process and procedures is highly desirable.
