Jr Regulatory Development Officer
* Identify and record upstream risks that impact upon the Bank
* Communicate updates and monitor progress on preparation and implementation of new regulations to relevant stakeholders;
* Establish and maintain an appropriate governance structure around the outputs;
* Maintain a register of Horizon risk
* Foster and maintain close working relationships with the International Regulatory Liaison team as well as the Group Risk, Compliance and Legal teams to provide a cost effective and streamlined service to the Bank
* Participate on external forums and represent the Bank at relevant events as required
* Provide general support to the Head of Regulatory Affairs / Development in the management of the Bank's regulatory interaction with it's regulators.
* Participate in project work as required.
If you have 1-2 years experience in Compliance, Legal Compliance or experience within the UK Regulator, this could be an ideal role that is highly visible and very challenging.
Candidates must have:
* University degree
* 1-2 years experience from either a regulator, legal/compliance team or regulatory policy / affairs division of a bank
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* The ability to manage relationships with demanding external contacts
