General Position Description:
Nexus is looking for a dedicated and energetic individual with both programming experience and a positive manner to automate business process. You would be interfacing with different groups within Nexus to develop and program applications.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
o Assist lead architect in programming solutions
o Work on small projects independently and large projects as a team
o Provide updates to software solutions
o Create programs following standard accounting principles so the programs self test themselves for accuracy and errors
Required ExperienceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o Visual Basic for Excel is required
o A background in IT and knowledge in Access Programming is strongly desired
o Strong technical skills are necessary to fulfill the job requirements with the capability to flow chart solutions is a must
o Strong accounting skills.
o Some knowledge of IT networking product is a plus not required.
o Some knowledge of Java and XML is a plus but not required.
o Must be able to Multi-task with a willingness to learn.
o Ability to work as a team, self motivated and possess excellent communication skills in a variety of mediums.
