We are looking for an exception technical guru with proven practical experience with
IBM JRules 6/7 with RulesStudio to be based in our Singapore office.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Analyze and implement requirements related to customer relationship opening in APAC with IBM JRules 7. This ensures that the enrollment of new customers is strictly following internal and external regulations. This work is carried out through close cooperation with various IT and business offices.
Key Deliverables:
- The candidate is able to implement well-defined tasks after three months within Jrules and ensures delivery quality by written tests.
- Takes over simple change requests with own responsibility after six months. Estimates the effort and defines the necessary internal testing. After approval by the Lead Engineer, implement the jointly defined work packages.
- Ensures quality by making peer reviews of the rules.
- By the end of the first year, analyzes complex technical and business requirements, create solutions, suggests alternatives and provides estimates to the LeadEngineer.
- Implements the requests to a large extent independently, coordinates side tasks with other project stakeholders and ensures the correct documentation of these packages safely.
- Takes over the responsibility for peer reviews, complex concepts, clarifications or estimates with different stakeholders.
- Provides efforts and progress reports transparently and independently.
- Provides impact analyzes for technical adjustments.
- Prototyping on behalf of Lead Engineer.
- Assisting in the analysis and solving of production problems.
- Adherence to CMMI Process Standards as defined by ISDF.
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The overall responsibility of the Applications Development Team is to support banking business regionally through the delivery of software development lifecycle services and management of provider and vendor relationships.
TO QUALIFY
- University or technical college degree in computer science
- 5 years professional development experience with Java in complex service-oriented environments (J2SE, J2EE)
- 3 years working in project teams of at least 5 developers, essential knowledge in versioning systems (e.g. CVS)
- Proven practical experience with IBM JRules versions 6 or 7, with an emphasis on Rulestudio, certification would be an advantage.
- Professional and technical discussions have to be performed fluently and accurately.
- The candidate is able to follow written technical documentation.
- He has experience or willingness to perform professional and technical analysis with business representatives and / or other IT stakeholder and is able to autonomously concentrate on other technical aspects.
- Proven experience in continuous integration and automated testing.
- The candidate would has strong ability to cooperate, efficient, reliable and competent with technical and professional partners.
