Sales Skills
- Meet and exceed sales quotas.
- Daily prospecting and cold calling; Solo Sales Calls; Speaks to the basic product line knowledgeably.
- Manage, renew and up-sell existing clients.
- Prepare proposals with a high degree of professionalism, quality and in a timely manner with help from manager.
- Under the direction of General Manager:
- Research prospective business clients, assess competitive landscape, and manage the pipeline of potential Sales clients.
- Seek out and develop new, strategic advertising clients.
- Manage the pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed forecasts.
Industry Knowledge
- Comprehensive industry knowledge and CoolSavings services knowledge.
- Stay current of online advertising trends and any major initiatives.
Negotiating Skills
- Basic negotiation skills developed from 2-5 years of selling experience; Works with manager to further develop skills.
Relationship Building
- Relationship building becomes essential; Able to connect with clients to establish a good rapport; Initial development of consultative approach to sales.
- Work with Client Services/Account Managers to effectively manage accounts, delivering superior customer service while maintaining and growing accounts.
Reporting and Analysis
- Crafts programs and pricing that meets client marketing objectives and ROI goals.
- Comprehensive understanding of reports, Rate analysis and other internal reports that track client performance.
Managerial Skills
- Must be able to manage cross-functional teams on behalf of client.
- Attends industry events within their territory at least 1X per quarter.
