JUNIOR ANALYST
We are currently looking for two London-based junior research analysts.
Role:
To work in our Internet and Semiconductor equity research teams, in particular, to:
o Develop industry relationshipsand network at industry/company events
o Build and maintain models for stocks and markets
o Desk top research and industry projects
o Drafting of research notes
o Development of investment ideas
Candidate requirements

Inter-personal
o Extrovert - strong communicator
o Confidence to reach out and engage with industry participants
o Potential to develop strong client relationships
o Ability to operate independently and take proactive approach to role and personal development
Financial/Analytical
o Proficient in Excel modelling
o Expertise in the analysis of financial information
o Strong analytical skills
o Attention to detail
• Expertise
o Requirement for a candidate to have worked for minimum of three years in industry, equity research (sell-side or buy-side), consultancy or MA advisory with exposure to the media, technology, internet, semiconductor, or telecom equipment industries
• Education
o Degree (2i or above) from top UK university or international equivalent
o Good A levels (provide subjects and grades in your CV)
o Preference for further education: MSc, MBA or Accounting qualification, CFA
• Interests
o General interest in the global technology/telecoms sectors
o Positions of leadership outside of academia
• Work permission
o Ability to work full time in the UK without a sponsor
o Not required, but ability to work in the US a plus
