Are you looking for an opportunity to work within a research team based within one of Australia’s most successful Superannuation research houses? This role could provide you with the opportunity to develop a career in pure research.
A new position has been created to provide that support to the senior members of the research team who’s responsibilities lay in providing detailed information to the superannuation industry, retail clients and institutional investment managers. You will be involved in actively researching superannuation and retirement products, the review and analysis of data, the rating of super funds, fund fundamentals, performance and the formulation of investment opinions.
You will use Excel as a primary tool, however the internet and company PDS/ Annual Reports will have to be routinely researched so up to date information is inputted into the companies main database. This is where most of the client information is generated. Your main role will be the main database contact and someone who can help out around the team when needed.
Apply for this role ONLY IF YOU HAVE AN INTEREST IN SUPERANNUATION and being a pivotal part of a senior team of research analysts. You must be willing to ‘do the hard yards’ and some of the most routine parts of the job, however if your aptitude and a good attitude towards hard work becomes apparent, you will quickly progress through the organisation.
