Junior Application Consultant / IT recruitment
Job description:
As a member of our Business Application Team you will be responsible for our trading application. You will need to have the overview of the complete application landscape and be able to make an impact analysis regarding changes in the application chain. Besides the technical skills it is also important that in projects you can balance conflicting interests and deal with complexities, working together with your colleagues is a must.
The role also involves:
- Technical and Functional support of the application (Charles River IMS)
- Trouble shooting
- Analysing, coding and implementation of changes (Manageability and
- maintainability are explicit requirements for this)
- Building interfaces to other applications
- Liaising with the end-users and 3d party vendors
- Performing application upgrades
- Creating and perform test-plans
As an application consultant you will need to:
- Have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Have a strong interest in asset management
- Have experience in Windows and MS-SQL databases
- Have scripting skills like Perl, T-SQL, PowerShell, VB-script
- Have sprogramming skills in C# is a plus
- Have knowledge about Service Oriented Architecture is a plus
- Have a hands-on mentality
- Have discipline and pay attention to detail
- Be a team player with excellent communication skills
- Be pro-active
- Ability to integrate rapidly and work effectively in a multicultural team of
- professionals
- First work experience in either investment management, corporate finance and other related fields would be an asset
